Rose’s Adoption Story

October 2023- MHS volunteers drove to Waterloo to rescue a pregnant momma. Within days she gave birth in our vet's office. Once her kittens were raised- it was time for Rose to find a home. Momma Rose was adopted into an amazing home, and they love her to pieces. 

“Rose is a perfect purr machine. She's a delight to cuddle, play, and nap with.  Rose makes herself at home on many surfaces and she's most welcome to do so! She prefers to drink water out of a glass and gallops around the house at dawn.  She keeps us company with her enthusiasm in the early mornings and lazily cuddles with us late into the night.  She has a warm personality and is ever gentle. We can't imagine a more fitting furry family member to share our home with. She enriches our daily lives and we love her dearly”.
