Yes, we welcome high school volunteers for roles that don’t involve direct animal care, such as helping at events.
We also encourage students to consider organizing a fundraising event. It's a great way to get involved and make a meaningful impact.

As a completely volunteer run organization there are many roles available including:

For event roles we ask that you arrive on time and stay for your full commitment to help ensure smooth operations.
For ongoing roles like admin or social media, we value consistent engagement, even if it’s just an hour here and there.

The board positions are elected by our members. Our members also act as advisors, sharing their opinions and voting on issues and direction. If you are interested in making an impact on the direction of Mississauga Humane Society, the journey begins with purchasing membership.
