Barry’s Adoption Story

Life with Barry:  Well, I was a little nervous to get a cat before he came. But as soon as he walked out of the carrier and I saw the state of him, I knew I would be keeping him!  He looked like he had such a rough start to life. But he’s somehow so adorable and charming.  He was a little standoffish at first, which I expected. I thought as an older, and disabled cat, he would be pretty quiet and timid. Boy was I ever wrong!  He quickly opened up and showed his personality! He is so cuddly and sweet. He follows me everywhere! But he’s also incredibly playful and wild! He runs around the house, he’s mischievous, chatty, and smart. Barry is just a joy to have in my home. 
I love coming home to him waiting at the door. It makes me so happy to give him a loving home, and spoil him! Adopting Barry is the best thing I could have done. Everyone who sees him or meets him just falls in love. He’s truly a special cat! I can’t thank the volunteers with Mississauga Humane Society enough for all their help and support with him, and for bringing him into my life.
